How to Claim Playtime Rewards

Don’t get so focused on your next evolution that you forget your rewards. Bug Evolution playtime rewards are claimable during your session, giving you something extra to collect while you’re growing your bug. Check them between farming runs so you don’t overlook an available claim.

While playing, look for the in-game playtime rewards and claim any available reward. Continue gathering food and leveling up, then check again as your session continues.

Move away from threatening players before checking rewards or browsing menus. Bigger bugs can attack you while you’re busy, so finish escaping before stopping to collect anything.

Collect Daily Rewards Alongside Session Rewards

Daily rewards are a separate part of your reward routine. Claim yours before spawning in; the daily reward track includes a 50-coin reward.

Keep the two reward types straight:

  • Playtime rewards: Check for claims during your session.
  • Daily rewards: Return each day to collect the daily reward.

Start with the daily claim, then check session rewards during breaks in your food route. That keeps reward collection close to what you’re already doing instead of letting menus interrupt every fight.

For a concrete coin target, the Housefly requires level 12 and 200 coins to unlock. Put daily and quest coins toward the bug you’re tracking, and keep gathering food to meet its level requirement.

Complete Quests While You Wait

Keep earning XP and completing objectives between reward claims. The quest menu includes QUICK and hourly quests, plus tracking for bug unlock goals.

Bug Evolution — Complete Quests While You Wait

Choose an objective that matches your current activity. If you’re already eating crickets, track a cricket goal rather than abandoning your route to chase a different target.

Here are several coin-paying goals to look for:

GoalCoin reward
Bite 14 Ants+42 coins
Eat 17 Crickets+56 coins
Stay alive for 7 minutes+57 coins
Reach Level 30+150 coins

Read the objective’s action carefully. Biting ants and eating crickets are different tasks, so follow the wording instead of assuming every insect encounter counts the same way.

The seven-minute survival objective is also separate from a playtime reward. It asks you to stay alive. Prioritize safe food gathering and avoid unnecessary fights while working on it.

After a goal completes, the quest panel can offer Eat 19 Beetles, worth +64 coins. Check the replacement objective before continuing your hunt, and switch to beetles if you want to work toward that payout.

Keep Growing Between Reward Claims

Use your session to build toward the next Bug Tree unlock. Begin with the tutorial’s five orbs, evolve into a spider, and continue eating food to grow bigger and stronger.

Keep your farming route manageable:

  • Collect larger orbs when you find them. They provide more growth than smaller ones.
  • Eat defeated insects. Finish feeding after a kill to collect the XP.
  • Choose movement or stamina upgrades if escaping is your problem. Getting away from a larger bug gives you room to continue farming.
  • Avoid crowded bonus XP zones while you’re small. Extra XP is less useful when another player immediately hunts you down.

Watch for the Night Hunt announcement: it brings double XP until sunrise. Collect food during that window to take advantage of the bonus while waiting for another reward claim. When choosing traits, look for increased XP gain; an XP trait can provide a 10% buff to help you grow faster.

Team up with friends if you want to hunt together, and check area recommendations before moving deeper into the map. Whispering Woods carries a Lv 15+ label, so use that warning when planning your route.

Before switching to an unlocked bug, check the requirements for the form you actually want next. Selecting a new bug starts its growth again; finish your current quest or farming objective before making the switch.
