Bug Evolution Max Level: Reach 200 and Grow Faster

What Is the Maximum Level in Bug Evolution?

The Bug Evolution max level milestone to aim for is level 200, where your creature reaches maximum size. That gives you a concrete growth goal beyond simply unlocking another insect. Level 60 is an earlier farming milestone, so keep growing after you finish that beginner route.

Getting bigger and unlocking creatures are separate parts of progression. You can grow your current bug while earning coins toward another Bug Tree unlock, but switching creatures starts another growth cycle. Decide whether you want to push your current creature toward maximum size or work toward a different form before spending those coins.

Follow This Food Route to Level 60

Start with food you can collect consistently, then move toward tougher targets as you grow. This route gives you clear checkpoints:

Bug Evolution — Follow This Food Route to Level 60

Level rangeWhere to farmWhat to eat
Start–20Areas with glowing orbsGlowing food orbs
20–40Sand areaSugar cubes
40–60Large cave near the middle of the mapBugs inside the cave

Start–20: Collect Glowing Orbs

Follow the opening tutorial and collect five orbs to reach your initial spider evolution. Afterward, keep collecting glowing food.

Prioritize larger orbs when you have a safe choice: they give more XP than smaller ones. Skip lengthy fights against tiny bugs when nearby food lets you keep moving and eating.

Levels 20–40: Move to Sugar Cubes

Head to the sand area and feed on the sugar cubes. Keep using them through level 40 rather than interrupting every feeding session to chase another player.

Flying creatures can help you travel between feeding areas, but learn their controls and watch your stamina before relying on flight to escape.

Levels 40–60: Hunt Cave Bugs

Move to the large cave near the center of the map and hunt the bugs inside. Eat defeated bugs afterward to collect the additional XP from their bodies.

Watch the entrance and your escape route while feeding. Larger creatures can become awkward to maneuver through tight spaces, especially when another bug blocks the way.

Choose Traits That Keep You Growing

Prioritize bite speed, then movement speed for the feeding route. Faster bites help you work through food and targets, while movement upgrades help you reach your next meal.

Bug Evolution — Choose Traits That Keep You Growing

When other trait choices appear, match them to the problem slowing your progress:

  • XP gain: Take the XP option when your goal is faster leveling; one available choice grants a 10% bonus.
  • Movement speed: Choose it when travel or escaping pursuers takes too long.
  • Stamina: Invest in it when running or flying drains your reserves.
  • Damage: Add it when the bugs you are hunting take too long to defeat.

Take advantage of Night Hunt, which grants double XP until sunrise. Spend that window feeding rather than browsing unlocks or pursuing enemies you cannot catch.

Plan Your Bug Tree Unlocks

The Bug Tree gives you more to work toward than a larger version of your starting spider:

  • Evolve into 30+ insects.
  • Unlock creatures including flies, moths, grasshoppers, tarantulas, and giant prehistoric beasts.

The housefly is an early option requiring level 12 and 200 coins. Its flight gives you another way to move around the map, but unlocking it means starting its growth stages.

Track the creature you want through the quest interface. Claim daily and playtime rewards, and complete quick or hourly quests to keep coins coming in alongside your XP farming.

If your immediate goal is maximum size, keep feeding your current creature before switching. If your goal is another Bug Tree branch, save toward its displayed requirements.

Protect Your Levels While Farming

Use a free private server to build levels away from public-server hunters. On public servers, watch the map for the largest player and avoid feeding directly beside stronger opponents.

Join a team or invite friends so you can hunt together. Keep these habits during longer farming sessions:

  • Read area banners and map recommendations; Whispering Woods carries a Lv 15+ tag.
  • Choose reachable food over a long chase after a faster player.
  • Preserve enough stamina to leave a dangerous feeding spot.
  • Check that flight works before making it your escape plan.
  • Wait for the combat timer to expire before trying to leave the game.

Death can cost levels. Keep your farming route manageable, and leave crowded feeding spots before a stronger bug forces the decision for you.
