Bug Evolution Level Up Fast: Food, Upgrades & Routes

How to Level Up Quickly in Bug Evolution

Your Bug Evolution level up fast routine should start with glowing food orbs, then shift to sugar cubes and cave insects as you grow. Long chases and fights against stronger players take time away from eating. Prioritize steady meals, upgrade your bite speed, and collect coin rewards toward your next form.

Start in a free private server to build levels without public-server attacks. Use the following route as a set of farming milestones, and read the level recommendations displayed when entering new areas.

Level milestoneWhere to goWhat to focus on
Below level 20Areas with glowing food orbsCollect orbs, prioritizing larger ones nearby.
Levels 20–40Sand areaEat sugar cubes.
Levels 40–60Large cave near the middle of the mapDefeat and eat cave insects.
Level 60 onwardContinue farming or try public-server huntingChoose weaker opponents carefully; public servers support up to 15 players.

These milestones are farming advice, not area unlock requirements. You can keep eating nearby food instead of moving on immediately, especially when another area puts you close to stronger players.

Choose Meals That Keep You Moving

Larger food orbs give more than smaller ones. Head toward a large orb when it is nearby, but keep collecting along the way rather than crossing an empty stretch for a single meal.

Early insects offer another route to XP and coins. Ants, caterpillars, and crickets are targets you can work into your food loop. After defeating an insect, eat its body before leaving. Killing it and immediately running to another target leaves part of the feeding opportunity behind.

Skip insects that take too long to bring down. Small prey is useful when you can finish it quickly or complete a quest at the same time; otherwise, nearby orbs can keep your growth moving with less effort.

Once you reach the sand area, focus on sugar cubes. Around level 40, head toward the central cave and work through insects you can defeat efficiently. Avoid committing to a large target just because it looks rewarding.

Watch for the Night Hunt double XP until sunrise announcement. Spend that window actively collecting food and finishing manageable targets. Save browsing the Bug Tree for after the bonus ends.

Pick Upgrades That Remove Your Slowest Step

Your upgrade choices should help you spend more time eating and less time traveling or struggling through fights.

Bug Evolution — Pick Upgrades That Remove Your Slowest Step

  • Prioritize bite speed when feeding or attacking takes too long.
  • Add movement speed to shorten trips between meals and improve your chances of escaping.
  • Choose an XP gain trait when offered if your immediate goal is faster growth.
  • Take stamina upgrades when sprinting or flying keeps exhausting you.
  • Add damage when insects take too many attacks to defeat.

Bite speed followed by movement speed gives you a straightforward farming focus. Adjust when your creature has a clear weakness: extra damage does little for your route if you spend most of the session trying to catch something.

Use sprinting between food clusters, but leave stamina available when dangerous players are nearby. A flying creature also needs enough stamina to keep its escape option useful.

Plan Your Evolution Before Spending Coins

Levels and coins both matter when unlocking another creature. The Housefly requires level 12 and 200 coins, so track that goal while you farm instead of waiting until you reach the level requirement to think about money.

The Bug Tree includes more than 30 insects, with options such as flies, moths, grasshoppers, and tarantulas. Check the branch leading toward the creature you want before spending coins on another unlock.

The Housefly gives you access to flight once you grow into its flying stage. Its early larval stage cannot provide the same escape, so choose a safe place to begin growing after switching.

Changing creatures starts that form’s growth from an early stage. If your current bug is already feeding comfortably, finish a nearby meal or claim an available reward before switching. Then build up the new creature somewhere away from stronger opponents.

Stack Quest Rewards With Your Farming

Open the QUEST panel and choose goals that match what you are already eating. Quick quests can add coins without sending you away from a productive route.

QuestRequirementCoin reward
Bite 14 AntsBite 14 ants+42 coins
Eat 17 CricketsEat 17 crickets+56 coins
Eat 19 BeetlesEat 19 beetles+64 coins
Reach Level 30Reach level 30+150 coins

Pay attention to the wording. A biting objective and an eating objective ask for different actions, so check your progress before leaving the area.

Collect daily login rewards before spawning, and claim playtime rewards when they become available. Joining the Corgi Crew group and liking the game also provides a cash bonus. These rewards help cover evolution costs while food and hunting build your levels.

Keep Public-Server Fights From Taking Over Your Session

Treat level 60 as an opportunity to try public hunting, not a reason to abandon food farming. A weaker player who keeps escaping can waste more time than a nearby sugar cube or insect.

Use the map to watch for the lobby’s largest player, and avoid feeding directly beside them while you are small. Whispering Woods displays a Lv 15+ recommendation; read area banners before pushing deeper into unfamiliar territory.

Team up with friends and hunt together when you want company on a public server. Keep watching your surroundings even with teammates nearby.

If you play a flying insect, learn its flight controls before relying on them during an attack. Watch your stamina, and retreat before you are exhausted. Combat can prevent leaving, so do not count on an instant exit once another player has engaged you.
